How to use the calendar
- Print it before the month starts and put it somewhere you see every day — the fridge or next to the kettle works well.
- Fill in your reason and your reward. A specific reason (“sleep through the night”) is easier to remember on a hard evening than a general one.
- Mark every day the next morning. A tick for an alcohol-free day. If you drank, write the number honestly and carry on — one day doesn’t cancel the month.
- Count the ticks at the end. The share of dry days is the number that matters, not an unbroken streak.
