Privacy policy

Short version: no account, no ads, your drinking log and notes stay on your device. A small amount of anonymous data leaves it so the app can count usage and verify Premium.

Last updated: 7 October 2026. This page mirrors the official app privacy policy; if the two ever differ, the official policy applies.

What stays on your device

Your torn-off pages, their dates and drink counts, your notes, your answers to the first-launch questions, reminder times and display settings are stored in the app’s storage and its home screen widget. They are not uploaded and are deleted when you delete the app. The text of your notes is never sent anywhere.

Anonymous usage analytics

DryPage sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, Inc. These use a random installation identifier — not your name, email or phone number. Events describe actions such as tearing a page, opening a screen or the Premium screen, or completing a purchase. One event records the length of a note, never its text.

Analytics never include your drink counts, your goal or weekly starting point, or anything you write. They are not used for advertising and are not combined with other data.

Reminders

Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled by your device. Reminder times are not sent to a server.

Feedback

If you send feedback from the app, the message is sent to DryPage’s server together with the app version and device model. Adding an email address is optional and is used only to reply to you. Feedback is not used for advertising or shared.

Subscriptions and Premium

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). DryPage never sees your card details or your Apple or Google account identity. RevenueCat, Inc. receives the installation identifier and purchase details (product, date, active status) to verify Premium.

What DryPage does not do

  • No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
  • No tracking across other apps or websites.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data, beyond PostHog and RevenueCat processing data on DryPage’s behalf.
  • No medical advice — DryPage is a self-tracking tool, not a medical device.

Children

DryPage is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.

Your choices

  • Turn reminders off in the app or in your device settings.
  • Use “Reset everything” in the app to clear pages, drink counts, notes and local state.
  • Delete the app to remove all data stored on the device.

Data deletion requests

Email benderlio@gmail.com with the subject “Drypage data deletion”. Include the approximate date you installed the app and, if you sent feedback, the email you used. Matching records are deleted within 30 days. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase records as required for accounting.
